Kennel cough is a highly contagious disease of a dog’s respiratory tract.

All dogs are at risk if they are in close contact with other dogs. Signs of kennel cough can be more severe in puppies, older dogs or those with other medical problems. Signs include a harsh dry cough, which may cause retching, a mildly raised temperature, tiredness and loss of appetite.

Any dog which comes into contact with other dogs is at risk. We therefore ask you to not come to Classes until two weeks after your dog has stopped coughing. This will help to avoid passing it on to the other dogs.
